After some hard projects like the Hexadoodle-and-Austin foot-swap bit I wanted to chill out a little. So, here I am encased in ice and loving it. I like the pose. I feel like it's reached a slightly higher level of anatomic coherence than my usual. But a huge part of this is the effects to look ice-encased. The big difference here was using an airbrush-erase effect to reduce the natural coloring way down in favor of the 'ice' effect. The effect is inspired by the last scenes in the (NSFW, hypnosis, bad-end) https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22318556/ but I didn't have the courage to wipe away quite so much 'live' color. Maybe next time.

I've been wanting to leave a comment on this, because it's lovely, but it's hard to put the words together!
It's really cute that you're just having a nice time. A good shocked or straining expression is always fun, but someone just parking themselves somewhere and letting themselves be inanimate for a while is super underrated. Looking up at your tail like it was the last thing that froze is such a fun touch!
You did an awesome job on the encasement effect, the sticky-out patches (I couldn't think of a better phrase lol) give the encasing layer a good sense of substance while still looking skintight. And I'm a sucker for shiny blue ice, too.

Aw, goodness, thank you; you're very kind and I appreciate having the approval of a connoisseur of the encased life.
When I do get into petrified or encased art, yeah, my default is to draw it as having a good time. There's some fun in having it come as a surprise or shock, and there's certainly no end of stories where a character might not want to be stone. But for my recreation? I feel like this is fun, a nice break from having to do anything but be admired for looking so lifelike, and that comes across. Also I'm a very tender-hearted person so I worry about looking like Bad-Endings. The character being happy about the experience deflates any sense of a Bad-End. So I'm very glad that comes across, thank you.
