This pic is actually for Natsu-cat, It sounds like she's been having abit of stress recently and well, being the owner of Etoile, it seems that her pony OC doesn't cop a break either at times.
Hope this cheers her up a bit.
Speckle pouted, long and hard at her bigger sister. Poor Etoile had had a hard day, looking after her adoptive baby sister was almost a full time job in itself let alone all the normal activities and such that she was supposed to be doing. It was 3pm and whilst Etoile had made sure Speckle had been fed, she herself, had gone without lunch, simply because she was rushed off her hooves.
Speckle was in one of her more boisterous moods and Etoile tried to calm the baby pony down.
“Hey speckle. Are you sleepy? Maybe it's time for a nap yes?” Etoile looked at her younger sister hopefully but speckle simply grinned up at her sister and shook her head.
“It's paytime now” She said proudly, demonstrating that she knew exactly what part of the day it was. “Its not dark so I dont hafta sleep yet!” She said very matter of factly and then began trying to pull one of the room's curtains down off of the curtain rail.
“Speckle don't do that” Etoile said with despair. She had only just finished tidying Speckles toys up and the room was clean now. She didn't want the hyperactive toddler undoing her work quite so soon.
“Look why don't you go on an adventure in your playpen. I'm sure there's lots of interesting adventures to be had in there.” Speckle looked up at her sister for a moment and then over at the playpen where Etoile had tidied most of her toys. There was one toy missing and Speckle clocked it instantly because it was her favourite.
“Where's mr wigglee?” She asked, suddenly with large eyes, dangerously close to filling up with tears.
“errr?....” Etoiles gaze flickered across the room. Speckle was always leaving that silly worm toy in ridiculous places. She was always misplacing it. Etoile couldn't see the toy, but had an idea.
“he is playing hide and seek with you. You've got to find him”
Speckles distressed look vanished instantly and her head darted from side to side looking for her hidden toy.
“MR WIGGLEEEEE!” She suddenly screams loudly. “WARE ARE YOOOOO!” Etoile jumped at the sudden loudness and she waved a hoof at her baby sister.
“You have to be super quiet to find him or he'll run away” Instantly Speckles ears flattened and she put a hoof to her lips muttering conspiratorially “shhhhh be qwiet!”
Etoile nodded in encouragement. “Yes Quiet. Ready set...Go find mr wiggly” She said with relief as Speckle bounded away to search the room for her misplaced toy.
Etoile settled down, glad to be off her hooves for a moment. She loved Speckle dearly but occasionally the baby could be hard work, especially when Etoile was tired and she was so very very tired. Without realising Etoile nodded off.
Speckle searched the room for a little while, being very quiet as she did so, but her search was fruitless. She quickly came to the conclusion that she couldn't find Mr Wigglee because she wasn;t a superhero, only superheros rescued people so ever so silently she trotted over to the curtains and with the perseverance reserved only for young children she eventually managed to tug one of the curtains down. She tried to tie a knot, her tongue sticking out in concentration and it was only by sheer fluke that eventually she managed to make some kind of knot in the curtain fabric to convert the curtain into a rather dashing cape. Everyone knew that to be a superhero you had to have a cape.
With her new found super powers Speckle resumed her search. After ten minutes she was beginning to get a bit frustrated when she heard a grumbling noise. Her ears perked up as she followed the sound. It was a strange sound, one she didn't recognise and she was surprised to find that the noise was emanating from her sister who was currently in the midst of a nap.
Speckle came to the conclusion very rapidly indeed that Mr Wigglee was in fact hiding inside her sister's tummy, for thats where the noises seemed to be loudest. What a clever hiding place, but how to get her toy out? She looked around and came up with a genius plan. She would pop her toy out.
She clambered up onto a nearby sofa, and as she launched herself from the sofa arm, she felt really proud of herself that she had investigated and solved the mystery all by herself.
Her sister Etoile was going to be really proud of her when she found out.
