that's what my airship is for... was in an rp with someone with it and i took out a dirigible in one blow to the balloon, he sad it wasn't fair... the fabric skins of dirigibles is coated with aircraft dope, and that stuff is flammable as hell, a common one is nitrocellulose, also known as guncotton
it contracts the skins and keeps it taut on the frame
and the weapon used takes half an hour to draw in enough electricity from the air and condense it into capaciters and then it isnt all to accurate effectively being weak lighting that's still guided by the laws of electricity and electric charge
