The cuélebre is a legendary creature, belonging to Asturian mythology, Leonese and Cantabrian mythology, described as a being in the shape of a winged serpent, similar to a Chinese/Japanese dragon. In Cantabria it is known as culebre. In León it is also known as culuebro, culebrón or sierpe.
