One day it happened. Some secret experiment grew out of control leading to fractures within the dimensional barriers between the normal world and the realm of imagination and creativity. A pocket of this dimension managed to be secretly contained within a secure location, but containing it didn’t stop it from managing to spread sporadic influence throughout the world as it was capable of slipping through dimensional cracks.

These energies were able to congregate and pool together to create phenomena that people took to calling ‘Toon Outbreaks’, as for some reason, it seemed as if the realm of imagination and creativity seemed to love manifesting itself in the form of ‘toon-themed’ results. These ‘Toon Outbreaks’ were capable of forming themselves in two main ways.

Items that became imbued with this essence were known as Toonifacts. These items were capable of changing and influencing those in possession of them.

Areas imbued with this essence were known as ‘Toonzones’. Entire localized areas that were changed in a variety of fantastic and weird ways.

Unless the ‘Outbreak Core’ was destroyed, the item or area’s influence would persist, and even potentially grow out of control.

King Bagshaw was an office worker who has worked at his company for a good number of years. He was known to be a workaholic, barely taking any time for himself. However, this lifestyle slowly began to take its toll on him, as King grew more and more tired in his older age.

One night, unaware that a poster he owned had become a Toonifact, he went to bed. While asleep, the Toonifact would activate.

When next he woke, King would discover that ‘she’ was now a tanned, toon beach babe.
