Actually... I'm planning on making her white. But her scale colour changes with the environment or mood or something.

Oh, so she has the make-up of a Chameleon, cool. I believe that you should do both environmental & mood changes, therefore it would be a universal tool & pleasure for yourself to have multitudes of actions. Would her hair color also be in league with the scales color shifting?

I think her hair will just be black and blonde... nice and monotone, so that it matches her scale changes

Ok, that sounds good. Though I think you should probably experiment on that as well, since Blonde & Black has become a common. maybe you'll end up finding something that works just as good and isn't a common cameo.
