After working on so many pages of the Sly Encounter over the years, I decided to give cover art design a try. Granted, I am no professional but I try my best to make an engaging cover art that grabs the reader's attention. The idea for this page was to present Sally Acorn, of the Archie and Sonic Satam series, battling the Kraken, while a mysterious eye surveyed the battleground. I wanted to give the page a David versus Goliath kind of feel, by presenting Sally Acorn as this small creature defending her home from a colossal beast. I wanted the audience to sympathize with Sally's plight as she desperately overcame overwhelming odds. Well, that is what I believe in. I never truly know what makes for good cover art. I just draw what I believe is interesting and hope other people find it interesting too.
