The gouache practice continues! A medium that still tends to intimidate me, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it and I won't let it scare me off :)

This started as a quite ambitious piece with lots of detailing and variegated leaves and whatnot, but I eventually realised that those details would be lost once this art gets turned into 40mm buttons and pins, so I ended up painting over it all again.

I placed my first order of 'actual merchandise' today in the form of wooden pin badges, and I can't wait to see how they'll turn out <3 When they do, I'll definitely show pictures :)

I'm determined to get the hang of this medium, so you'll definitely see more of it in the near future!
