Some history and facts; Eguene is the last of an ancient bloodline, a so called cursed one at that. His wolf and werewolf forms have skeleton markings on them, revealing his bloodline’s curse, which is, if they are killed, their souls attaches itself to their pelts, since werewolves usually get skinned when killed by hunters. if anyone wears the pelt it will wrap around their body and take over, turning it into his own, making it very hard to permanently kill one of this bloodline. Most of Eguene’s family was killed by hunters who knew that to kill them for good they had to burn the pelts, leaving Eguene alone. He travels around the world, looking for a place to live and trying to keep out of trouble, both with hunters and with other weres. He has a slightly shy behaviour, making him seem weak and scared, but he is an experienced fighter and totally fearless in battle. But he knows that its better to use your head in a fight to think out ways to win without risking too much harm on either side of the fight. Eguene often travels with humans, simply because it is often safer for himself to do so, though sometimes, if annoyed or angered by the humans, he will eat them, though rarely kill, just to remind them of their place lower on the foodchain.
