These are a few new color scemes for
aemi's river bunny Detrovitch depicted as an anthro. The original coloration can be found here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4912678/ ...but Aemi wasn't happy with it so she opened it to recolor (sketch here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4912674/ ).
Now, I'm not too familiar with marine life, so I'm not sure of the common color schemes in a river area. (Although I'm pretty sure the brighter ones are probably more appropriate for a tropical area.) Hopefully, though, one of these hits the mark...
I did the original recolor (the deep purple) by first re-defining the line art over Aemi's original sketch (some areas weren't completely solid, etc.) and then proceeding with the recolor, which includes a gradient on the tail and head and back fins. I also chose to fill in the markings...I'm not sure whether that was what Aemi originally intended, but it seems to have come out well. After the original was complete, I just fiddled with the colors on the body layer to create the rest.
I have to give a HUGE shoutout to
bakari for all her help with this! I'm Photoshop deficient and she explained a few things to me and helped with some of the trickier parts and cleanup. Thank you! <3
I'm looking forward to a bunny (or two) of my very own! :)
