One of the million sketches I start and rarely finish. Started this one after a japanese art show at the start of the year and finished now because i think is fun.
In a far away past, people of the Big City weren't friendly with each other. Predation was common, and every species lived separatedly. The evil spirits found no challenge, and the streets were deadly dangerous.

There's a legend, of two animals that put aside their differences and started fighting together, a black dog and a black she-cat, they were fierce hunters and slayed countless enemies, making the streets safer, and leading the various animal tribes to open their eyes about the fact that unity is strenght and separation is a deadly trap.
The two remain nameless, they're usually called the Spirit-killers, and it's not even sure they really existed, and what became of them. The unity of animal tribes in fact didn't happen from day to night, but there probably were groups of open minded beasts that started working together against the evil street spirits, opening the way to today's unity of species.

Your mind is certainly special. :P Being able to think in abstract ways is hard for me, personally. I love the realism approach so much that fanciful stuff is a huge hurdle. Especially when I want to immediately take the fanciful ideas and explore them from a realism perspective, haha.
I'm autistic too, as you know. :P So many ways the brain can shift data around, mine happens to favor these sensual and realistic-style type thoughts. Sometimes I do wish I could push more of an abstract approach, for sure. I'll have to settle for getting to enjoy pieces this way. :)
