Twisting and squirming his large gut, Ben tried forcefully to ease his frame down from the attic hatch, grunting as the pressure remained on his middle. Even when he removed his strong legs from the ladder below, his belly simply ballooned in its tight prison, refusing to budge.

A few days of indulgence seemed to have taken a toll on Ben's already softer middle. He placed his legs back on the ladder and scratched his head, looking down at the roll of flab keeping him trapped.
