When Fox is in pain, suffering, and can't get away, Shadow is what comes out, Fox's inner demon... it's like the evil voices you hear that tell you all the bad things in your life, and try to make you do bad things to yourself and others, that is what it is like.... I just gave it a physical form, and a name.
