Here's my lost girl, Snowy. She was a raptor I had in the game, Ark Survival Evolved, back in 2019 during the ARKaeology event. If you're an Ark player, then maybe you remember this.
All my friends were getting raptor characters, and while I already have enough characters, I still let everyone know that I did have a raptor. But, she has long passed away.
I was playing on the island, a map I can never seem to finish, a map that still surprises me. I was in the south, and metal spawns are infrequent there. I just saw this beautiful raptor a few days ago; a lone wolf so to say. Although a low level, I picked her up as she was a beautiful striking white color. (A color I've never seen since because the event is long over) I named her Snowy, and her company was wonderful.
I remember going on a raft ride to a metal location I knew that had a few nodes, and once I arrived, I took Snowy with me as a protector. I went up that hill, and in that very wooded place, I did not see the danger in time. A therizino.
It attacked me on my other tame, a parasaur I'd say. Snowy dove in, and as much as I wanted to fight, I was too weak. I had to painfully leave her as I found safety, and I saw the death message... She saved my life.
I remember putting a gravestone with her name on it, and whenever I was higher level, I always missed her when I passed by it.
