Corvus - first appearance

After long debates and countless discussions, Xenomorph-Evil / VirtualAffinity now finally has a main character. Wowzers.
I have to give credit to artist ZEE BUKA for having designed a very inspiring piece to work with, as a commission: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52256092/
I let some aspects of the initial design flow into what it is now, but we decided that some aspects still needed changing so it suits our taste more.
With this character still being related to Virtual's lore in itself, it is supposed to fill a gap that my alien somewhat needed a filler for. A different being they can interact with on a more close/intimate basis.
However, the initial idea solely consisted of my mate having a character that isn't a robot or Xenomorph, as it can get hard to relate to and the latter being a bit unoriginal/too feral to be considered a "mate" or a close companion of my entity, 8 - not to mention that official creatures don't really suit into my own lore and projects unless it's something non-canon.
He is planning to write down some lore for Corvus sometime, so feel free to join his server where he posts all his things nowadays: https://discord.gg/YSaWhcyCFR
It is still in the works, but it'll grow with time and your presence. :)

Normally I do not commission other artists for designs, that is true - but I lost the drive to come up with designs momentarily that in the end aren't my own - and Xenomorph-Evil has asked me to design him a persona for a while now but simply couldn't come up with anything meaningful for him. Thus I commissioned you specifically because I've been a follower of your art for quite a while, and one of your latest designs caught both my mate's and my eye for a reason - thus we wanted to know if you'd be alright with taking a commission similar to the one you created.
This shouldn't be a turn-down or anything towards you. You've done really good work and it was a big inspiration for our projects.
It is pretty rare that "more experienced" artists approach smaller artists for commissions, and I can understand why it's such an odd experience for you. But please don't feel like you're a worse artist, I'd say you are one of the talented artists on this site, especially because you draw aliens - which in itself is a rare sight to behold. If you keep doing what you love the most then you'll get even better at it! :)
