Wanted to do a little something for this year since I've finally built the courage back to try and do it after I was pretty much bullied out of openly mentioning what I am for the past 5ish years - seeing the insane amounts of backlash towards acespec folks (not to mention the usual pan + poly hate), especially when it came the mouths of my friends and people I used to appreciate.
Pride Month has always been my least favourite part of the year because it has made me feel invalidated and hated even by those who openly claimed to be open, understanding, and queer-friendly... until you mentioned an identity out of the LGTB acronym. I hated hearing the "I am not against aces, but..." followed by textbook acephobia. The constant invalidating of my gender identity because "I don't look like a cis woman" and the transphobia I have received (yes, us cis folks also get tangled into this when we don't follow gender norms!). The arguements equating being non-monogamous with being psychopathic monsters. I am also guilty of having been bigoted against certain minorities because I did not understand them, but at least I am content knowing that I have done my best to come to understand them and that I have left that behind. And so I know that other people can do the same, and at some point build the courage to apologize.
The pride flag has room for absolutely all of us and I will no longer tolerate competition on who is the most queer, or the most marginalized, to be 'deserving' of calling themselves queer. We all deserve to find a term that makes us feel us seen, understood, and represented.

I'm so sorry you've had so much pushback and discrimination, it's especially sad to see that sort of thing coming from the queer community no less.
You be you, it's what will make you happy in the end. You're a wonderful person and whatever your sexuality etc leads you is fine and reasonable. I'm glad you're willing to say it this year, and I hope in a few years you don't have any qualms showing it.
I love the little double-pride pins by the way. The bi/pan one fits me well - I identify happily as either, and am old enough to remember when pan either hadn't been named or at least wasn't widely known of. What are the other two? I think one's something/polyamory and I'm drawing a blank on the other.

Infighting in the queer community is so sad to see, and I feel like it's becoming more and more prominent each time. It's depressing to know that someone doesn't feel like you're discriminated against enough to gurantee a spot in the queer umbrella - as if being one thing or the other made you more deserving of finding community or support.
The buttons on the neckerchief are the new (and really pretty!) polyamorous flag, the bi/pan flag like you mentioned, and the other one is cis/gender non-conforming (GNC)! Cis has a couple of different flag designs but the other one was a bit harder to read in a smaller size so I went for the two-color one, but afaik there isn't a 100% official one since after all it's not really a pride flag :)

Aw, I'm glad! I really think that tolerance and support is the way to make everything better, it's been one of furry's strong points for me over the last couple decades for sure. Everyone's worthwhile and I want people to know that - and profess it!
I'll have to check out that poly flag! It's such a shame the original one is, uh, ugly. ^^; I'm fond of the one where black is moved to the middle and the red and blue are made into more appealing colors, but it's not very well recognized. I ended up putting the infinity heart on my pan pride flag in VR, more folks knew what it was.
Always be yourself. Experiment some to work out what you are, but have fun just being you. Oddly enough, some of the friends I respect the most are folks who know they're straight, because they tried fooling around with the same sex, it was fun but didn't really do it for them. I love that they wanted to be bi. :)
