"Here's a friendly reminder that the negative voice in your head is not you, and you are actually completely delightful."
The two cards we have to represent today are The Shaman and Queen of Pentacles. There are two distinct energies to these cards, feel free to interpret them as the beginning of the day vs. the end of the day, or inner energy vs. outer energy.
The Shaman is a very special card to me. This shows us someone who is not only a spiritual leader, but a very specific guide. They are able to interact with the spiritual realm in ways others can't, varying from culture to culture. They can also be seen as great healers within their communities. This card can symbolize authority and ritual, spiritualism, religion, but also community. Given that it's pride month, the themes make total sense. We're going to be seeing communities coming together for so many reasons, beginning today. Some may be religious authorities that accept the LGBTQIAPK+ community, other's don't, some are the religious authorities in the LGBTQIAPK+ community. The idea of coming together as a community may feel nerve wracking for a lot of us who struggle to socialize on the daily and these are themes we may see throughout the day.
Tune in with yourself - how does the idea of community make you feel? Do you have a mentor or guide?
If it makes you feel good, but aren't surrounded by community, go for it! (if it's a safe and viable option for you.) You may find that you connect with a mentor, a shaman, or someone who inspires you to see the world in a new way. (Remember, that you're completely delightful.)
The Queen of Pentacles is represented by a sweet alpaca surrounded by flowers and corn. If this is to represent the energy at the end of the day, or the outer energy, this can show that we're harvesting some rewards from very hard work. This Queen is very grounded and gentle energy whose goal is to achieve balance. If you've been feeling out of wack lately, (you're not alone) and may find things coming to a head in terms of finally getting the rest you need. Someone around you, (or yourself) is using their generosity and practicality to the highest degree. This card shows us that it's ok to ask for help, rearrange a schedule, change direction, let go of old fears and things that hold us back, especially if it's a negative voice in your head.
These two cards combined show us the energy of a mentor//mentee, leaning on someone, meeting someone new or seeing someone old in a new way.
