I went to the DC China Town New Years celebration over the weekend. This was one of the stage performances. I was lucky enough to get a stage-side spot.

Used my on-board camera flash to fill in the shadows that would have otherwise dominated due to the sky. It really gave a nice sparkle side effect to the shot as well though.

What I did: only white balance adjustment and slight boost to contrast. The shot was just naturally this colorful. Angled the crop a tad to give it even more of an action feel.
