Gift piece for DarkNeon-64 on Twitter and Deviantart featuring his character Emily the Penguin.
For this piece I wanted to use my skills in drawing Anthros however staying true to the original design that Neon had made for Emily, as a result I use a more anthro style of body and proportions while keeping the cartoon like eyes and the feet (i felt it would be wrong to make them more bird or human like when compared to how I normally draw).
When I was starting art Neon was my idol and I am forever thankful for him being a tutor to me in helping me grow to love my own artwork.
