Another one of my Quange horse centaur models based on an Arabian mare this time. This figure was built on a plastic toy horse body, and heavily modified with "A&B" epoxy putty, model building fillers and finishes, and painted with a flat black base coat with gradually thinner layers of white. The result is an almost translucent white coat with delicate gray shadowing. The long mane, tail and "Collar" about her neck are crepe hair "Fur" created specially for the model horse refinishing hobbyists. (Yes. There is a model making genre based on making plastic toy horses into more detailed and lifelike miniatures of "Real" horses.
Genevive was my original idea of what a Quange representation of "Death" might look like. A beautiful, all white mare with deep blue eyes. This is why she carries a small sickle, and holds aloft a deep red rose. (In this instance, she uses the sickle to harvest the red rose as it reaches perfection.)
