I decided to draw this team based on the one from Pokemon Pearl (emulated and no hacks >:P). Despite species and names, these girls have nothing in common with my actual team. I just decided to think of something fun.
From left to right:
Hellen (Staraptor)
height: 1.4 m (larger than most Staraptors, who are usually 1.2 m tall)
nature: sassy
accessories or clothing: none
Second Pokemon, caught as Starly. Even when she was a small bird she had quite the attitude and loud mouth (or should we say beak?) that brought her into a lot of trouble with other Pokemon, feral or trained. When she was caught, it mellowed down. Often argues with Roxanne, although she can be easily silenced by either Veronica or the Trainer. Unlike some other Pokemon in the team, she doesn't seem to show any sort of affection towards the Trainer and just sees him as a partner and mentor.
Sylvia (Weavile)
height: 1.1 m
nature: relaxed
accessories or clothing: golden earrings on ear feathers and anklet on her left ankle, purple scarf around her neck
Third Pokemon the Trainer runs into. However, instead of catching her, he found her abandoned by her old trainer who left her after she lost in a fight against much larger and stronger Onix. At first mistrusting towards the Trainer, he managed to gain her trust after taking care of her wounds. With time she grew more and more attached towards him, showing definite signs of affection, trying to win her trainer's love-albeit with a shy and careful approach.
Roxanne (Infernape)
height: 1.3 m
nature: naughty
accessories or clothing: small red jewel attached to her collar.
First pokemon the Trainer got on his journey through Sinnoh. Also the one who gave him most trouble when he first started- she would often disobey orders, wander off when released out of her Pokeball, attack the Trainer, and if the opponent in the battle was male, she would rather flirt with him than fight-sometimes she would even flirt with female opponents (although this was more to spite the Trainer when he thought he might make her stop with bullshit if he pits her against female opponents only). However with time she learned to respect her trainer, and two have developed a sort of buddy-buddy relationship.
Veronica (Vespiquen)
height: 1.2 m
nature: brave
accessories or clothing: pearl necklace
Fourth Pokemon the Trainer got (given as a gift by the owner of flower shop from Floaroma Town), also the eldest. Acts as a mother figure not just towards the team, but towards the Trainer himself, making sure everyone and everything is in order. Outside of battle she's calm and gentle, always smiling. Try to cause harm either to her fellow Pokemon or the Trainer, she's a fury incarnate, and her vicious attacks will send anyone flying in pain-she won't stand down until threat is vanquished.
Mimi (Lopunny)
height: 1.3 m
nature: gentle
accessories: pink ribbon around her neck
Fifth team member, caught as Buneary, but she quickly grew into a Lopunny. Kind and sweethearted member of the team, who rarely fights but mostly serves as support to either of her teammates during double battles. Shy and quiet around strangers, but opens up easily when Trainer is around-like Sylvia she shows affection towards him, but unlike the Weavile she's more open about it and isn't afraid to show it to her trainer-trying to impress him in any way possible.
Barbara (Floatzel)
height: 1.1 m
nature: hasty
accessories: none
Last member of the original team. A bit of a goof and a ditz, quick to spring into action or say something before thinking. Somewhat childish and impatient, also rather sensitive-if offended or treated extremely harsh, she's prone to crying-although can be quickly calmed down. Excels in fights both on dry land and underwater (especially in the latter) Quicky became friends with Sylvia. Despite the fact she shows some affection towards the trainer, it's more of an admiration than actual crush.
