Prisons on Shachor are harsh. You're only given a pair of pants and a collar with an id tag. You have to pay for everything. You can't afford to rent a cell? you sleep outside in the courtyard. Can't afford a meal? You go hungry. Want more clothes or a blanket? Pay up. Prisoners have to work jobs provided by the prisons and the state to earn prison credits. New prisoners get a ticket for free food and rent for a week.
