Rowan and Meesa encounter a new Alt-Ender and decide to figure out what story it it formed from.

Turns out, this particular Alt-Ender was formed as a product of the queen from Rumpelstiltskin never managing to guess the creature’s name, and so lost her child to him.

Needless to say, this definitely ended up to be a rather awkward situation for Silkenbloomsong, as it meant this very creature was her own biological mother.

As an Alt-Ender codenamed Queen Spintaur, this monster can extend her body parts that are attached via golden thread. She is also capable of spinning a near unlimited amount of golden thread that can be used to wrap anything up in it. Perhaps one of the most worrisome capabilities of Queen Spintaur is that she’s able to unravel objects and living beings and spin them into golden yarn as well.

Queen Spintaur also constantly searches for the child that she lost long ago, leading to her becoming frightenly clingy.
