Remember a time when there was no snow on the ground or when you didn't have to wear 5 layers of heavy clothing just to go outside? Well, I miss those days so i was going through some photos of nice days in the sun. This is a photo taken of my and my horse Cally out in a pasture in Northen Illinios. Infact, if you go about 1 miles past that treeline in the background, you'll be in Wisconcin.

She's an Oldenburger, a German Warmblood from the Cor de la Bryere line. Her sire was Calypso IV. She's 23 years old this month (on the 18th) and I've had her since she was 8. Bought her in Germany when I lived there in the late 90s and brought her back to America with me when I moved.

I too want it back. I HATE winter. I'm always cold and not even a hot shower or a warm bed helps. And, I can't get to the hot tub cause of too much snow......
