Wow, this took FOREVER to get done *faints*
I wanted a new ID for DA. Did a lot of experimenting with this pic. Never done an upside down pic before. lol Took me forever to get the pose down itself, and then there was the issue of how the hair should dangle. Bleh, I'm still not satisfied with that part.
I'm not a really good background person either, so this was good practice. I think it came out really well. It was a pain drawing EVERY. SINGLE. BLADE OF GRASS!! DX
Also in contrast to cartoons and such, I decided against just solid black for the line art. I used darker shades of the colors for that area instead. I've seen other artist I admire do that so I decided to try it out. It took time getting used to and I had to go back and fix a bunch of things. Luckily paint tool SAI makes changing the line art easy.
Anyway, despite all the things I'm still questioning about it, I really like this pic. Enjoy. Feel free to tell me what you think =3

Hmm...I think his head looks like a dog...if its supposed to be your kai character...then his head needs suuummm work. Never the less, very intressting drawing...Oh and BTW Thax 4 the watch, In return I'll draw ur character, Kai the Kat, I must admit, even if its clean i don't vibe with nude drawings, soooo I'll pick an out fit for you...If you don't want me to draw yah a pic thats fine too..
