So, as many of you know, I play Warhammer 40K. I've decided to translate this to my character, and his son Ighas. After a day out, the two stopped in at a game store where they were hosting a drop-in, drop-out game. During the event, Ighas was so ingrossed in the experience, that he practically begged his father to help him get into the game.

One starter kit, which was Space Marines vs Tau, a pair of combat patrol boxes, and a bunch of kits later, both of them left the store with about 2,000pts of models and all the materials needed to build and paint them. It cost a couple grand, but both father and son had a new army to play. Tau for Dakara, and Salamanders Space Marines for Ighas.

Irshi on the other hand was not pleased. Dakara, on impulse, just spent a lot of money on minis, and got their son in on it. This is however a great father and son bonding moment, since his son can learn from his ol'man how to build and paint the minis, and really learn to play the game.
