Aurora has not only caught the eye and interest of one of the winter-aligned Aos Si. Canthus, an eldritch being of the deep sea, a golden goat of benevolent intent but corruptive presence, becomes infatuated with the android, and calls out to him via the "Golden Signal." It it just one manifestation of his addictive and corrupting power that even machines are not immune to. Aurora, curious as he is and wanting to know what it is to truly "feel" anything, answers this call and gives into Canthus' loving embrace and touch in some possible timelines.

He does not instantly give in, but it is all the more sweet for the two when he does eventually give himself over to the Lord of Yulareil, embraces him and his beautiful song, and becomes utterly changed. Now a thing of eldritch flesh and blood, but retaining all of his abilities, he becomes a mighty threat to the world as he can ensure the conditions needed for his beloved master's summoning and manifestation are present. The activation of a backup body and copy of Aurora's mind are required to counter this, lest he successfully spread Canthus' corruption all over the world.

One thing can be said for sure: This form of him is truly happy to serve the Golden Goat to the fullest however he can, believing he has truly grown into a better version of himself and changed as all living things do.
