Oh, I agree. I've no idea why it's so dirty either. Not even the banditted SP engines or AMTRAK trains are ever this befouled.
We had very little rain in January, certainly not enough to explain the mess.
If I were to make a supposition I'd say #3105 journeyed off it's home rails for some reason.
