TMI 05/24/23 Response #2
You can get strong enough to break the sticks and crush the stones, but you can't outflex the commentary of a 12-year-old who doesn't like you.
Side note, this monologue was actually harder to write than I expected. This was attempt #5, iirc.

Ahh, learned two things then. Appreciate the clue in.
I spose I got lucky. I had my grandfather for a father figure.
Course my grandparents were a type of durable/tough I WISH I was
Grandfather had a grip that could dent steel, and his ability to self teach was insane. If he wanted to learn something. Give him an hour. He'd be at intermediate
Grandmother had a pain tolerance that was dangerously high. Walked on broken ankles for two years, "Oh it's just a sprain"
I saw her reset bones in her hand after it was caught in a press saving my brother. She just flexed and *crick crack* "Ahright, lets go shopin" like nothing happened!
