It does feel like Espeon should've been above, near Leafeon, Sylveon opposite to Jolteon,Vaporeon and Umbreon are having a nice pose for their position, and Glaceon with Flareon. This way, in my head, all of them are coming "from" Eevee.
But this is just my opinion, which is not even a criticism, I still enjoy this piece and the designs greatly.
