I know it's slightly early, but (political rant incoming:) the thing is I want to annoy people on the right wing (Ben Shabibo and Mort Wolsh, specifically) who complain about Pride taking over everything, as if I haven't lived through 30 years of Christmas stuff going on sale starting in October, or going into year round Christmas shops and being baffled. Oh but a gay pride simulacrum would be evil and perverted. Eyyyyyyyyy imma wave the flag extra hard, and I'm not even into Pride lmao. I'm a librarian, I like a quiet gathering lol. I'm just here to support the community. The younger folks wanna party and have fun? Daddy werewolf gonna protect em all.
Plus now that I'm living with my partner, it's safe to say I'm one of them gay men homosexuals y'all keep hearing about. So I get bonus Pride points this year cuz I'm committed to someone and it feels wonderful. Dab on them haters UwU
