While Melee and Sharon find themselves doing a lot of camping together during their young adult years, not all of their time was spent in the wilderness of Ashleaf. In the years Melee trained to be a self-proclaimed squire, he did plenty of journeying and knows of a few inns and taverns dotted throughout the land that'll serve beastfolk like him and his crimson-skinned friend. And whether it's a soft bed, a delicious meal, or even just a drink or two, Melee is more than happy to take Sharon to such a place when he can scrounge up the money from their adventures together. To him, it's practically a reason to celebrate! After all, what could be better than getting to kick back and enjoy civilized life for a little while with your best friend?

Sharon, however... does not share Melee's enthusiasm for these little outings. As an adult, she heavily disliked being in public areas and really didn't enjoy having attention drawn to her. Still, the comforts and luxuries associated with such places were far too good to pass up, and she figured the experience could be tolerable so long as she can just go in, enjoy whatever comforts Melee wanted to spend on the two of them, and get out as soon as possible before too many people notice her. Sometimes, it was that easy, but other times... not so much. Girl wants to enjoy her drink in peace, after all - not too often Sharon gets to drink something that isn't just plain water - and here Melee has to commemorate their time together and let his happiness get the better of him.

"C'mon, May... do you really need to do that here? People can see us..."

"Aw... don't be like that, Sharon! The whole point of these places is be social and enjoy yourself, and I'm just happy to enjoy it with my best friend!"

Yes, I actually got to commission Cry one more time! When I had him draw separate pics of Melee and Sharon in their aged-up forms, I knew I had to finish the trifecta and get him to draw one more pic of my dragons... together, just like I had him do years ago with their younger selves. Their personalities have shifted quite a bit since then, with Sharon going from a cheerful and outgoing optimist to an embittered social outcast while Melee transitioned from a mopey runaway haunted by his past to someone who's always trying his best and is eager to help those he cares about however he can. That's character development for you.

Really happy I got to hit up this artist one more time! It's been really neat to see this guy hone his skills over the years and watch his craft grow since I first discovered his work back in 2017. The dude has certainly come a long way as some of the older commissions I got from him back in the day show, and I'm sure he'll continue to go far in the coming years!
