Created in the experimental phase since the end of the war against the Conglomerate by Kelly Spengler, Avyn was designed as a general assistance program for most of the cybernetic systems created by the zoosapiens that Kelly had designed and implemented with his people and the resistance, similar to what he had seen humans had developed with operating systems and basic Virtual Assistants on their devices.

Since Kelly herself having found it difficult to finish the physical part of Avyn because of the situation, she gave her already finished head a deployable Zion propulsion system under her head, four deployable insect-like legs to move on land, a 360-degree kinetic retractor to grab things, and the ability to link to any cybernetic body and system it connected to, including organic zoosapien bodies via its nervous system, and a Kestyern battery, making it independent of having a body of its own even though Kelly was later able to complete it.

Avyn being based on Kelly's consciousness is very similar to her in personality, being fearless and cunning, as well as with a great sense of humor and perception of the flaws in a plan or system, and now being in a future full of advanced technology her programming to link with other systems to help has been complicated only a little since even for Kelly it is a surprise that she adapts with relative ease to advanced systems but Avyn is clear that helping machines and living beings to coexist in a balanced system is her purpose.
