Many sailors know the old phrase about red skies, and often assume it refers to the waves upon the high seas. But few speak of it in regards to the shoreline. For early in the morning, when the red sun is just above the horizon is when sailors have spoken about hearing beautiful singing upon the shore. They say its mesmerizing and captivating. Several sailors have been drawn to the voice upon the shore as if caught in a trance, but no one has returned to report who...or what...is the source of that enchanting tune. This is my warning to you, young sailors, bewares the sirens song in the red skies of morning.
