That little badge that the Tiggy's holding, apparently gave him nifty special powers during the event known as "FurcoNZ". Powers such as... organize/book the lodge site, arrange for various logistics (A/V, I.T. to even kitchen equipment), go and search for the best "yellow-stickered" (a.k.a. discount) deals on food (for a weekend of 70 people), able to access such "staff only" areas as the kitchen and to supervise the creation/cooking/serving of all meals, equipment lock-up room... etc, etc., and that list goes on and on...

I still somewhat cringe at the unofficial title of "con-chair" (technically my job title would be "Lead Organizer" and to a lesser extent "Executive Chef"), as it makes me sound more important than I was. Blame mainly to  Kaltezar and now a few other people who made the title stick... isn't that right, Mr. Vice-Con-Chair Kaltezar? ;)

At the end of the day I really have to thank the entire FurcoNZ staff team for being so awesome, and putting up with this Tiggy to get the event running. and hopefully everyone enjoyed FurcoNZ 2010, the 2nd year that was held at this great venue in the middle of the Hunua Ranges national park.

Also thanks goes to Kyma/Lee for providing the artwork for the con-badges for this year's event. They turned out quite awesome!
