Chuong: A lot of that has to do with the Vietnam War and our path to recovery. These days, our economy is stable but our currency is pegged to the Japanese yen, which provides more stability for us than the US dollar. I don't know too much about economics since all I know is that the Vietnam War was a big factor of why we had a period of high inflation.
