This is the closeup pic from my work Goldfox. The original work can be found from my gallery in FA. The closeup pics from up and left to right: Left eye, left ear, mouth, right ear.
I think I sitll have a lot to learn about how to make things faster.. but the problem is I still want to make detailed work.. ^^;
Impossible? I don't think so..

Ah ha...I thought you'd put in close ups of your work.
As for making your details go faster...why?
Yes, I understand you have other things to do, a life, etc.
BUT!!!
Good...no, GREAT artwork takes TIME. Ive always felt that rushed work = sloppy work, and I DETEST, LOATHE, ETC. SLOPPY.
But I would also check out a certain mag for tips at least...namely, "ImagineFX". Its a science fiction/fantasy arts mag printed in Britain. Its NOT cheap, but the resources in it (plus the art) make it well worth it.
Submit this to them too bud...you should think about going pro.

Thanks for the idea, I'm definetly going to buy the mag, though I live in Finland, but I guess I could order it here? I need to save some money for it but usually those kind of mags are really worth the money.
Artwork takes time and I'm ok with it. I just feel that I have loads of artwork to do (this time over 20 works unfinished.. ehheh.. ^^;), so I want to learn quicker yet not rushed working methods. I usually put closeups after the real artwork here 'cause I work with big pictures and I can't put them here with their real resolution.. shame.. but even I would go crazy while waiting them to load up. -_-''
And.. thank you.. -blush- I'm aiming to become pro. So that was really nice to hear. ^^

But perhaps theres one other thing...the original pic....
Its kinda niggling at me, so please dont take this the wrong way but...
...Did you by chance use the "Bartimaeus" trilogy as a pic ref?
Nothing wrong with that mind you, but the facial fatures are very similar!

Can't take it wrong way, everyone has right to ask questions ^^. What is/whose work is "Bartimaeus"? As I never have hear of it. So the answer is no, I didn't use any pictures as pic ref when making this. If the pic you are talking of is in internet, could you post me the address? It would be kinda fun to see it.
