"...That concludes this Log, thank you for your time Fuzes! I'll hopefully see you in the next cycle.." She sighed, gesturing for the Orange overseer on her chamber floor to leave. Watching it disappear off into the access shaft above her. As much as she loved her 'neighbor', these moments of prolonged silence from Fuzes worried her. Especially as this report was on the ecological impact of yet another piece of her neighboring Can peeling off!
It was tiring work, really. Managing the hundreds of Overseer feeds within her Complex. Each prying for her attention as they had a new report about a creature for her to document down file away. Of course, she couldn't really be upset by this decision! Keeping an eye on the wildlife within her facility grounds was a task that she alone decided to uphold. It didn't make it any less strenuous though, as such she loved these periods during her rain cycles where she could just... Rest. Fuzes called it 'floor time' as she drifted down to the floor underneath. The floating pearls around her scattering as gravity returned.
Floor time was nice though! Cuddling up in her well kept cloak as her systems quieted down. The horns and wails of her General Systems Bus raging on outside began to calm. The lights dimming to a darker orange. Just a bit of peace and quiet... Of course that wouldn't last as one of her Overseers returned. Immediately the holographic screen of an Overseer feed was pushed into her face! "H-Hey! What gives!" She huffed, the Overseer seemed excited about something. Her eyes drifted towards the feed, "Huh..? Oh!"
It was Pancakes. (She hated that name but calling him Number 17 all the time grew tiresome). Curled up in a Shelter, accompanying him was that Blue Thief. A Slugcat that accosted her Local Group, stealing parts for... something. It had a habit of stealing and hijacking Overseers as well... Echo could only assume this came from one of her stolen observers. They were programmed to avoid entering Shelters afterall!
Watching over the image closely, she relaxed back into her cloak. Resting against the mechanical arm behind her. The blue Slugcat for once in a seeming long while seemed... content. The thought of which made the aging computer internally smile. She'll tell Fuzes about this later... after she yells at him for going quiet of course. For now, 'floor time' is more important! Letting the overseer stay at her side, keeping the live feed of the two creatures sleeping...

Wanted to do a short story, I'm pretty bad at these but I thought it would be nice to share a little more info on my Iterator OC before I get her some art! ^^
