If Undyne is a tsundere, Alphys is a hajidere. Btw, I refer to the whole Hotland chapter as "Utsuhaji Kaiju Gaiden," which means something to the effect of "side story of the depressed bashful monster." The term "kaiju," if translated literally, doesn't specifically refer to "giant" monsters (but Susie might argue that they're the best kind).
