In Brazil where I live, we are going through a dictatorship that prohibited liberals from defending the rights of the individual and declares indirect support for the dictatorship of Vladmir Putin. President Lula da Silva supports Russia's position against Ukraine, Iran and the enemies of LGBT people...

Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction. We don't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and passed down for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our later years telling our children and our children's children what it was like in the free world, where men were free.
