Brokul the Orc, after seeking the assistance of a Sorcerer acquaintance whose studies happen to be within the realm of knowing and understanding the many men and beasts of The World, finishes the first leg of his journey: finding a traveling companion to help him adventure throughout the Western Lands.
The slime creature named Boon having now revealed themselves, Brokul considers his objective complete, and begins the next leg of the journey: the Waygate that will lead to the Western Lands, and the many experiences that await...!
Wooooo! Part One finished!! Now onto Part Two! I'll make a journal about it at some point to share the overall aspects of what I've got going on. Check-in later for those details!
I'll get to responding to everyone that I haven't already responded to as soon as I can—but at the very least, whether I've replied or not, thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts!! I'm very appreciative of all the feedback, and hope to bring plenty more pleasure with these hunky fellows in Part Two...when the wrestling begins.
To all the viewers who read through the comic, but didn't leave a comment...thank you too! Seriously, that you would be interested in these characters, their stories, their personalities, or just their bulging physique, is super wonderful to me, and I hope you stop by in the near future to check out the next projects I'll be sharing!
If this is the first comic of mine you've read, make sure to check out the other comics I've done (which all have more wrestling than this one, wink wink)!

I already had enjoyed “A Study in Muscle” long ago…, but a recent post from you on bsky drove me to revisit your comic—which also granted me the chance to share with you my thoughts and feelings about this first leg of Brokul’s latest journey… 😊
I spent a whole Saturday night reading this chapter, all at once this time around since the comic is complete! I simply couldn’t stop reading because every colorful, texture-rich, cinematic-minded panel is, as usual, so gorgeous to look at—as gorgeous as Brokul, that must be said! Its dialogues, nevertheless, showcase the same amount of substance your renders have, and your clever font usage truly highlights how dazzling this comic’s lore is! 📚
Lore-wise, by the way, I still adore how your world-building is shaped by the characters populating your tales and the interactions between them all—Brokul’s exchanges with Kuubah and Arkhan, to name a few, are among my favorites! However, if I had to choose just one of those exchanges, that would be the interactions between Brokul and, yeah, Burgruk Wartooth—my favorite character for, let’s say, friendship-motivated reasons…, as you might be aware! 🫂
(Not sure how accurate my personal interpretation is, but I feel the connection between Burgruk and Brokul is like the connection between a mentor and his protégé…, almost as if Brokul was something like a younger brother to Burgruk; that’d make sense, since Brokul is 34 and Burgruk is 36… I simply loved how Burgruk and Brokul interacted, nevertheless 😃.)
A Fav!! =^_^= Many thanks for delivering another outstanding comic, bud! 🍻
