I've been in a real mood for some good chillout recently and have been listening to a lot of it, so I decided to write some of my own.

This is just a short meditation piece, meant to be looped. Hope ya'll enjoy :)

Well I don't think this would definitely fit in with a trance set lol... but this sort of music does give the ears a break while still generating a semi-similar sound. That was... very... wordy

Was this inspired by the Plato's philosophic metaphor on the nature of knowledge by the same name?

No.

Though, now that I've been listening to it for a while, I could see this sequence of notes as a musical representation of what Plato may have been theorizing about at the time.

But its not. I simply wrote some music that sounded like it goes in a cave. XD

this was very nice, and made me think of a water dungeon (perhaps behind a waterfall or something ish) in an RPG! lol but seriously, I like it!

lol yes!! This just means you can convey a story/image very well, that's a huge part of making good art in my opinion.

Re listening to this and the beginning reminds me of a scene from robot carnival :D. Then the image switches to a future club or lounge area in an apartment on a rainy night, florescent lights glowing softly in the next room while the holo music player glows and pulses with the music in different colors. The rain on the window a gentle patter while the low lit room is warm and comfortable. Laying back you close your eyes and just let the music carry you, the rain outside all but a memory.
