This story reminds me of the hardest creative writing exercises that we had to do in college. They were called one page novels and were literally a page long. You throw all the back story required to set the scene and the betrayal and revenge are an accomplished ending without having to see if it is carried out or not. In other words, a better one page novel than I ever managed to turn out. I am a "why use 1000 words to say something when there are millions of them out there?" kind of writer.

The illustrating fits with the one page idea as well and is nicely done. I like this piece a lot.

Though, I have heard of stories of several other students who managed to pull off a serious test/exam with a sentence, combining these subjects: Religion, Royalty, Birth, Mystery... The sentence, as they say, is ""Oh my God," said the Queen. "I'm pregnant! I wonder who's it is?"" X3

I ready your journal and have to say I understand but will be saddened. I have been writing for a looooooong time (Oakie is a gray muzzle in RL too) and yet your work here taught me something about writing today. That is a gift I cannot say thank you enough for. You have a gift so use it wherever it will do the most good for *you* and my best wishes go with you.

Yep! Except I use Illustrator, its line tool is sooo much better than photoshop, and for things like that toolbox, you could make something that looks 3d in like, four clicks, haha

I would've transferred over to Illustrator, because I have that as well, but I was tired that night I did this, and wanted to see if I can finish this in one night sitting. <3

I draw the basic outlines on PSP, with blue or green, and then I transfer over to Illustrator to line the outlines. <3 I have no idea how to color in Ill though.
