So, those no swimming signs really weren't overboard.
You went to the beach with your friend to swim, and the ocean is lined with warnings that weren't there last time you were here telling you that the water is dangerous, and to not enter it. You crack a couple jokes, then decide it's probably best to go back. Your friend insists with some vehemence that you'd come all this way, and shouldn't let a few signs ruin the trip. Concern taking over, you continue to decline. Your friend taunts you as they walk to the water, wading deeper, joking about your unnecessary worry. A slight ripple in the water next to your friend startles you, leaving you in scared silence just long enough that a giant figure has time to burst from under the water before you can warn your friend. The screams of terror from your friend are quickly silenced as the figure, now discernable as a Lugia, shoves your friend deep into their mouth before snapping their jaw shut: perhaps the last time you ever see your friend again. The Lugia sloshes your friend around their mouth, chewing on them softly for a while, before tilting their head back. A deep, resounding gulp sends the last evidence of your friend sliding down deeper and deeper into the Lugia. The Lugia lets out a deep sigh of satisfaction, and turns their head to you.
Nothing's stopping you from walking the same path your friend did.
