Brass Hawk is impressively stealthy for a being made out of a suit of brass plate armor. While the Essence of Obscurity that he's made up of helps cloak him from divination and other magical sensing, it doesn't explain why he can move nearly silently while crawling along the ceiling faster than many people can sprint. At least anyone caught by him will be released.
