Dewey and Essence have a small chat following Dewey’s interactions with Marco. After the passing of his wife 20 years prior, Dewey never really allowed himself to properly move on from it. For Dewey, it was Arlene’s sheer energy, positivity, and occasional flightiness that always managed to push him forward and balance out his own serious nature.
Though in what seems to be a rather strange twist of fate, Dewey has now found herself in what may be a similar situations with someone else who has the same feel about them.

There is a detail that caught my attention. Dewey when he was human was a man in his 50s but by giving him that Virus and turning into a Pokemorph he is now a young Joltik. What I wanted to know is what exactly happened with his age. If Dewey was rejuvenated by infection or by changing gender and species there was a time conversion and now how a Joltik is young on the time scale of her species and has a much longer lifespan.
By the way, Dewey is adorable. He literally has a new life, a second chance, and now he can start over. But he doesn't want to let go of the sadness that led him to live his first human life in apathy and routine. But, that's what his friends and co-workers are for, to teach him to be a woman, open his heart and be happy.
