This one is a few years old; I finished it just before Kismet arrived. As a matter of fact I think we were kinda waiting to see whether she got here before I was done or not!

I very recently started learning digital art after being strictly traditional since… yikes, 97. X.x My personal learning style has always seemed to struggle when it comes to technology. Add that to some considerable self-doubt and welp. Finally after some encouraging words from friends I tried again, and I think digital has been able to fill in some much needed gaps for me that were limited before. Case in point; I have a wrist injury from when my oldest was a baby that never really got back to full strength, making colored pencils especially more painful and difficult. Going digital has helped ease that, plus the brush settings can help me pretend my hands don’t shake.

I actually have that robe, and I think there’s at least one other picture of Vinci wearing it. However, I do not have that chaise lounge and that makes me kinda sad.
