Some more  Rikoshi fanart, this time of his novel Thousand Leaves. I think the stories' darker tone is what does it for me, the underlying feeling that, hey, there's a good chance not everything -will- be okay. There's a specific chapter I won't spoiler that felt, thematically, straight out of a short section in PK Dick's Ubik that messed with my head as a kid. And no, not talking about the ending, that messes with everyone's head.

This one took far too long to finish, in part because I'm terrible with backgrounds, in part because Christmas happened and it took me a while to pick up speed on drawing again. As much as I enjoy taking breaks they really mess up my productivity for weeks after.
