Pixelart of an OC of mine from mid-2022. Description below has been taken from their page on Artfight.
An unknown lifeform living along the outside wall of the Known World. Whether the creature is of terrestrial origin or not is currently undetermined. Creature possesses thorough knowledge of speech, and self-designates as "Mir" (MEER) when prompted. Mir seems to enjoy taunting its prey while on the hunt, and seems to possess a rather flamboyant demeanor. Mir's body seems to be comprised entirely of a strange ooze-like substance.
Every pair of eyes on the creature's body are linked to a shared muscle group. When contracted, the muscle opens up a mouth spanning between the pair of eyes that is capable of snapping shut with extreme force. However, opening the mouth seems to force the attached eyes closed, making the bites as clumsy as they are brutal. What's more curious is how her form appears to be a partial imitation of a humanoid figure; Mir does not seem to possess significant ability to modify her form, implying that this is her natural shape. If she is an alien, her main body's adjacency to human anatomy is a significant coincidence; if terrestrial, then how this form developed naturally instead of a more predatory form is worthy of further investigation.
Mir claims to have "a friend on the other side of the wall" that she converses with frequently, but no one has been able to ascertain the validity of these claims.
