The Elysian Micro-Drake is a small species of drake native to the scrublands, grasslands, and dry forests of Elysium. It is considered to be one of, if not the most, basal forms of its kind. This little creature spends most of its time prowling through the undergrowth, far from the hungry eyes of larger predators, in search of small insects and rodents on which it feeds.

Depicted here is a chance encounter between the Micro-Drake and Jera the She-Devil (the bodyguard and living size reference of that particular expedition). The image was taken shortly before the discovery that Micro-Drakes are literal ankle-biters (much to the chagrin of poor Jera). Further observations that were made thanks to this encounter were:
1) Elysian Micro-Drakes are not venomous;
2) their teeth are sharp, and pointy, and can cause extreme piercing pain when coming into contact with bare skin;
3) the little bastards are ridiculously quick on their feet and can almost instantly vanish in the undergrowth (well outside of the typical range of a Fireball Spell);
4) No matter how tired one's feet may be, one must never take off their boots while in the wild...you never know what may come out ant bite you.
